Generosity = Beauty.

Tonight my good friend Doug Steward (see his art work) gave me two gifts of beauty.

One was the painting you see above. A gorgeous take on the still life called “Pearanoia.” Dough painted this well over a decade ago when we worked together at a mid-sized tech company. I fell in love with it. And he remembered that.

Recently we’ve reconnected in a master minds group, and tonight, much to my surprise and amazement, he brought me a gift - this wonderful painting.

His real gift was not this painting. It was his generosity.

Generosity is one of the most beautiful things you can experience in this world. In it’s purity, it is a selfless act that takes goodness from our soul and delivers it to another.

While I love this painting, Doug’s act of generosity will mean much more to me than the painting ever will. Luckily for me, this beautify painting will always remind me of that.

If you want to bring more beauty into this world - simply be more generous.
